1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
natural fibers--- not into novelty stuff.... pretty varied. OUtside of felting- I don't like itchy or squeaky stuff....(not huge on cotton unless its a blend, and don't really like acrylic)
2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in? Pretty needles rolls;) love them
3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? A few years....Intermediate to intermediate advanced.
4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? yep but it's ridiculous stuff for my husband to buy, mostly... (which he won't;)
5. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products, etc.) Vanilla, chocolate, and roses...
6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy? CHOCOLATE.... DARK.
7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin? Spin. Yep- never thought I would.. but addicitons suck you in- i suppose.
8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD) Varied- mostly christian newer stuff though;) have an ipod, and not afraid to use it.
9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand? Yellow. and orange is pretty close behind it.
10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? 2 cats a dog- (AKA Bad Dog Sami- the Beagle) Married- 3 sons- 17, 14 and 4;)
11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos? scarves, wraps, mittens- NO PONCHOS. They make me look like a pregnant woman with an arrow pointing to my butt.. no tthe look I'm going for.
12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit? Lace is prob #1 then quick to finish stuff... like cabling thought i'm new to it;)
13. What are you knitting right now? Eunny Jangs Print o' the Wave Stole--- unless I rip it out in a hormonal outrage beore i hit send.
Also misc. socks and starting christmas knitting.
14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts? yep
15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic? right needles for the right job;)
16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift? yep;)
17. How old is your oldest UFO? My oldest son- nearly 17. Oh you mean knitting? Oh probably 1 year or less....
18. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas/tied with Easter
19. Is there anything that you collect? besides yarn? longaberger baskets... clutter;)
20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have? I subscribe to spin-off. I usually like somethng in Interweave knits- but don't get it at home....
