"An American Mom"

Happy Fourth of July

From: An American Mom!

My country tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,Of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died!
Land of the Pilgrim's pride!
From every mountain side,Let freedom ring!
My native country, thee,
Land of the noble free,Thy name I love.
I love thy rocks and rills,
Thy woods and templed hills;
My heart with rapture fills
Like that above.

Let music swell the breeze,
And ring from all the trees
Sweet freedom's song.
Let mortal tongues awake;
Let all that breathe partake;
Let rocks their silence break,The sound prolong.
Our father's God to, Thee,
Author of liberty,To Thee we sing.
Long may our land be bright
With freedom's holy light;
Protect us by Thy might,
Great God, our King!

To those who serve, or are left to wait;
Thank you! Our prayers are with you!
Dear Lord- I pray for our country, that you would bless and guide it. I pray for those fighting for freedom, that you would protect and guide them. I pray for those left to wait for those fighting that you would be their provision and their comforter, I pray for those who've suffered losses, for freedom, that you'd be their comforter as well, I love you Lord- and am thabkful to live in a country, where I can do so freely. I pray for those who serve you under persecution, that you would be their rock and fotress, I thabk you for the freedom that I have that is from Christ, much greater, than the one I have by my citizenship- I love you Lord- amen!
